How do I upgrade an existing database / mailbox?

Do you want to increase the capacity of an existing database or mailbox? Or create a new database or mailbox with additional capacity? First order the required option through the control panel, then assign it to the correct database or mailbox.

Upgrade or create a database

Step 1: Order the required database option

Follow these steps in the control panel to order the database option:

1. Click Reseller at the top of the page.
2. In the left-hand menu, go to Options and click Add.
3. Select the appropriate database type for your project:
   • MySQL Database (Linux and the most common choice)
   • MS SQL Database (.NET hosting)
4. Select the required database size and complete your order.

Step 2: Activate the option for your database

Follow these steps in the control panel to activate the larger database:

1. Go to My Products > Databases.
2. Click Manage database next to the database you want to upgrade.
3. Select the database size you have just ordered from the drop-down menu.

Upgrade or create a mailbox

Step 1: Order a mailbox option

Follow these steps in the control panel to order the mailbox option:

1. Click Reseller at the top of the page.
2. In the left-hand menu, go to Options and click Add.
3. Select Basic Email.
4. Choose the required mailbox size and complete your order.

Step 2: Assign the option to the mailbox

Follow these steps in the control panel to upgrade the mailbox:

1. Go to My Products > Email Hosting.
2. Select the domain name linked to the mailbox and click Manage email.
3. In the left-hand menu, select Mailboxes.
4. Click Manage next to the mailbox you want to upgrade.
5. Select the mailbox size you have just ordered from the drop-down menu.
