Before you publish a new or updated website, it’s always a good idea to test it first, so you’re sure everything works.
The fastest way is using a browser preview. If that doesn’t work, or if you want to force the correct result on your own computer, you can use the hosts file.
Find your hosting IP address
Follow these steps in our control panel
- Go to “My products” > “Web hosting”.
- Click your domain name.
- Copy the IP address shown in the overview.
Test via your browser
You can use sitepreviewer.be to generate a temporary preview link. You’ll need your hosting IP address (see above).
- Go to https://sitepreviewer.be/.
- Enter your hosting IP address.
- Enter your domain name (e.g.
yourdomain.com). - Generate the preview link and open it in your browser.
Note: the preview link is valid for 72 hours. If it expires, simply generate a new one.
